Some of the worst stories are hidden beneath the dazzling career of a woman. The winner of the USA and World competitions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after a lot of struggle and perseverance. Jones was the only child in a family of five as well as grew up poor. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and lived for a time in a church basement. Jones had to be moved to another school every year up until the time she graduated from high school as a result of her nomadic life. When she attended Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones did not live with her mother so that she could explore her love of the track and field events. She had four families throughout her time at high school to study at one location. Jones is a cellist of the school's orchestra, and the winner of Gatorade state track and field player of the Year award was awarded the Gatorade Iowa Athletic Award at the time of her graduation from high school. Jones was a college student when she went to college, was one of the most skilled hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track and Field Championships, she won the 100-meter hurdles. Also, she was in the team who finished second in the 100-meter Relay. In 2003 and the year 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles race at the NCAA Championship. Jones began her track career in 2005 after completing her university studies. The same year she also won the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026 she was the winner of the Ostrava Track event as well as Heusden.
Brandt born within Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents relocated into Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt assumed the character as Naevia for the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the most prominent actors in the show, collaborating with Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. Mazikeen was a reknown comic book character on Vertigo/DC, and she portrayed her in the Netflix popular series Lucifer for a period of six years. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the number one television show to watch for binge watching in 2021. Brandt is set to appear with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the six-episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. Her other Netflix shows include animated adult show Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter as well as Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni. This will start airing in the month of July in 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African born in December 1981. She's a very talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with her entire family moved from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. She began her career within Auckland as a retail store owner before being promoted to a management consultant for IT. After modeling a couple of times, Lesley appeared in countless commercials. In 2008, she finished her degree in acting and continued her training in Meisner techniques of learning. Lesley's very first major acting gig was in the New Zealand TV drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television series Shortland Street acting as supporting actor. Later she appeared in a sci-fi drama series This Is Not My Life based on the anecdotal city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
